We seek a PhD in Bio*, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar. Our group, which is located in the city of Valencia in Spain, offers competitive salaries as well as an excellent environment for scientific research. The candidate will participate in this EraNet that aims at identifying the mode of action of compounds known to be active against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This is an active collaboration with the GlaxoSmithKline company in Madrid (Ballell), two research groups in France (Neyrolles and Gicquel) and one research group in Germany (Wilmanns).
Recent publications of our group in this line of research are:

Knowledge of MTB biology and in particular structural biology is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English and an ability to work independently will be necessary.
