The GeMoA project offers an opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary team with core expertise in structural biology, infection biology and several complementary approaches. EMBL Hamburg on campus of DESY provides leading synchrotron radiation experiment facilities in structural biology.

Work Objective: To identify and characterise structure-function relations of targets from M. tuberculosis, in the context of validated lead compounds.

Required Expertise: Ph.D., expertise in protein production (molecular biology, heterologous expression, protein purification) and biochemical methods is essential. Additional expertise in microbiology, structural biology, omics methods (proteomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics) would be advantageous.
